Police arrest two people in gun incident at Euclid High School

An alert patron at the Euclid Public Library may have stopped a tragedy Thursday when he reported seeing someone pick up a gun and head toward the nearby high school.  The Euclid library, high school and police station are all within walking distance of each other on East 222nd Street. Officers quickly descended on the school, which administrators had been put on lockdown.  At the time, I was inside the school (chemistry class to be exact).  My first thought was we might be here forever or maybe smeone may want to steal our chemicals. Anyways, at about 2:50 the lockdown was over and when I walked out the buliding, the police had the two guys caught in the student parking lot.  Honestly, that was a close call.
