Democratic Gov. Neil Abercrombie wants to find a way to release more information about President Barack Obama's Hawaii birth and dispel conspiracy theories that he was born elsewhere. Abercrombie is a longtime friend of Obama and his family. So-called "birthers" claim Obama is ineligible to be president because they say there's no proof he was born in the United States, with many of the skeptics questioning whether he was actually born in Kenya, his father's home country.
"Information requests rose despite a new state law allowing officials to ignore persistent and repetitive inquiries, a law that has been used about six times by the department," Janice Okubo said (Spokeswoman of The Department Of Health).
Because Obama is a man of color I believe thats the only reason why people want prove his legit citizenship. No other president has delt with this problem except Obama. It's really sad to see how our country's people can't accept the fact that we have a president of color yet they're doing everything in their power to tarnish his reputation.
